Who we are

This website is operated by Lab Solutions Inc., doing business as Home Construction & Design ("we", "us"), a California licensed general contractor (CSLB License #957315, B – General Building). This policy covers information collected through this website. Information you give us during a construction project is also governed by your written contract with us.

Information you give us

When you fill out a request form on this website, we collect:

• Your name
• Your phone number and, if you provide it, your email address
• The property address, if you provide it
• Details about your project: the type of work, your timeline, whether an insurance claim is involved, and any message you write
• Whether you agreed to receive text messages from us

We also keep the information you share when you call, text or email us. Please don't send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, bank details or insurance policy numbers through the website.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the website, some information is collected automatically:

• Google Analytics (a Google service) uses cookies to measure how the site is used: the pages you view, how you arrived (for example, from a search), how long you stay, how far you scroll, links you click to other websites, taps on our phone number or email address, searches on the site, files you download, videos you play, and when you start or send a form (that a form was sent, not what you typed in it). It also records your device type, operating system, browser, screen size and language, and an approximate location (city level) worked out from your IP address. Google Analytics doesn't store your IP address, and we keep this data for 14 months. We've turned off Google's advertising features (Google signals and ad personalization) for this site. • Our website platform (HighLevel, which hosts the site) records basic visit statistics: the pages you view, how long a page is open, the page you came from, and your browser type. It uses a session cookie that expires after 30 minutes. It does not record what you type or click.
• When you submit a form, the page address, page title and your browser type are sent with your request so we know which page it came from.
• Like any website, our hosting provider and the services that deliver our fonts, photos and video (Google Fonts and HighLevel's image and file servers) receive your IP address and browser information when your browser loads them.

How we use your information

• To respond to your request, prepare estimates and schedule visits
• To manage and communicate about your project if you become a client
• To send text messages, only if you agreed to receive them
• To understand how the website is used and improve it
• To keep the website secure, prevent spam and fraud, and comply with the law

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with:

• Service providers who run our business tools on our behalf: HighLevel (website hosting, our customer relationship management system, and text and phone messaging), Supabase (the database that stores form submissions) and Google (website analytics and fonts). They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
• People working on your project: if you hire us, we share the details needed with the architects, engineers, trade contractors and suppliers working on it, and with your insurance adjuster if you ask us to work alongside your claim.
• When required by law: to comply with legal process, protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.

We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Text messages

Agreeing to receive text messages is optional and is not required to request an estimate or hire us. If you agree, we'll text you about your request and project. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Your mobile number and text message consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

"Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or "Do Not Track" signal, this website does not load Google Analytics for you. Our website platform's basic visit statistics, described above, still record page views on our own site. When Google Analytics is loaded, Google may collect information about your activity on this site and on other websites over time.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of text messages at any time. To make a request, email info@hcdhomes.com or call (949) 239-2700. We'll confirm your request using the contact details we have on file and respond within 45 days. We may keep information we're required to keep by law, such as project and contract records.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up. If you become a client, we keep project records for as long as needed for the project, warranty, tax and legal purposes. Google Analytics keeps visit data for 14 months.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and access-controlled business tools, to protect your information. No website or system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll make that clear on this page.
