Full-home remodels

Sometimes one room isn't enough. A full-home remodel reimagines the whole house at once — opening up the layout, updating every finish, and bringing an older home up to a high-end standard without tearing it down.

A few directions to consider

Start with the feeling you want — we'll shape the plan around it. These are directions to spark ideas; your finished project is built to your lot and your life.

Open & Bright

Tall ceilings, big glass, and one flowing space.

Chef's Kitchen

An island that anchors the whole house.

Flexible Rooms

Rooms that adapt — office by day, guest space by night.

What's included

  • Whole-home layout reimagined
  • New floors, lighting, and finishes throughout
  • Kitchen and baths rebuilt
  • Structural changes done to code

Start to finish

Every phase, handled in-house

From the first design sit-down to the final walkthrough — here's what we actually do on a full-home remodels, so there are no surprises and no gaps between the people who plan it and the people who build it.

  1. 01

Sit-down planning with the architect & engineer

We re-imagine the whole floor plan — what opens up, what stays, what moves — and the engineer tells us which walls are bearing and what it takes to remove them. One plan for the full-home remodel, priced up front.

  2. 02

On-site walkthroughs to measure the whole house

We walk and measure every room, the existing systems, and the structure so the new plan fits the real house — not the one on the original, wrong, drawings.

  3. 03

    City & state permitting

We pull the permits for the whole-home renovation — structural, electrical, plumbing, and Title 24 — and chase plan check until the city clears the job.

  4. 04

    Demolition & abatement

We strip the house to the studs — old finishes, walls, and sometimes old systems — and handle any abatement the older home turns up during the whole-home remodel.

  5. 05

    Structural & framing changes

We cut the new openings, reinforce the walls the engineer flagged, and re-frame the layout so the full-home renovation flows the way you want it to.

  6. 06

MEPS — electrical, plumbing & HVAC

We rewire and re-plumb the house and bring the HVAC up to current code — every system inspected before the walls close for the last time.

  7. 07

    Insulation, lath & drywall

We insulate the whole house for comfort and sound and hang and tape the drywall — the house goes from a gutted frame back to real rooms.

  8. 08

Roof repair & weatherproofing (as needed)

If the existing roof needs it, we repair or replace sections and re-flash every opening we touched so the renovated home stays dry — not a new roof unless the full-home remodel actually calls for one.

  9. 09

Energy & Title 24 upgrades (as the home needs)

When the whole-home renovation triggers Title 24, we bring the older home up to current energy code — insulation, and solar or battery only if the job calls for it — scoped to what the house actually needs, not a checklist.

  10. 10

    Interior finishes, millwork & handover

Floors, cabinets, stone, tile, paint, and the last hardware throughout the house — then a full walkthrough and handover of a whole-home remodel that feels new without moving.

Not sure what you want?

A few questions to get you started

Most people don't have a finished plan yet — that's normal. Think through these while you look at the pictures above, then tell us where you land.

01

What's the biggest problem with the house today?

Choppy rooms, dark halls, one bad bathroom — name it.

02

What do you want it to feel like when it's done?

A direction now saves rework later.

03

Can you live elsewhere while we work?

Full-home remodels go fastest when the house is empty.

04

What's your budget, and can you live elsewhere?

Both shape how we phase the job and how fast it goes.
